Thats interesting then as i rang the Newton Abbot branch to see about a tyre and MOT and he said all the MOT's were done up at Paignton and never mentioned that. Will bear that in mind........

Went to AMS in the end and got my new BT021 but failed the mot on a leaking forkseal, didnt see that even though i ran my hand over them before i went up just to check but they had definately gone on the way, so a bit of bad luck but the tester which i assume was Lee from Arlington just booked me in his place the next day and did them and retested so good service, but he did look busy, not room to swing a cat, lol so i would use him again.........

my bt 016 has pretty much had it after 2000 miles this wet wether hasn't helped either as been using the bike every day for work keeping it upright because its wet, so have run a flat spot on the rear, next step buy a spare rear wheel put a 021 on for work then keep the 016 for weekends

You dont always even need super sticky tyres even for spirited Sunday blasts, I ran a set of Diablo Stradas on my old ZX6R G2, they're basically sports tourer tyres, even did a trackday and they handled wonderfully or settle for a set of normal Diablos, will easily get 4,000miles from a rear, hell I got 3,700 from a Corsa rear on the SP1.
I couldnt be doing with changing tyres every 2,000miles!
