Its not that bad, seriously.

I kept up with age(a ducati 996 with ohlins) on my TLS. They really aren't that scary.

I was probably faster on my TLS than any other bike to be honest.

Hard to wheely for long periods of time but easy to lift...

Looks to me like a wheelie being performed by a professional under controlled conditions................

The big difference between C and E/F models is in the motor, the C model uses steel liners, and the later models used an ally plated bore, bottom ends are the same, crank and rods are the same part number for C/E/F models and Z750/1000. Power output is usually around the 135bhp mark with a full system and filter/jet kit. With a Wiseco 973cc bigbore it is easily possible to see over 150bhp from the motors, and slightly more with a 998cc JE piston kit. Relinering is cheaper than boring and replating the ally cylinder bores. I'm currently building a hybrid Z750/ZX9 bigbore motor using different pistons which should achieve 1022cc and at least 160bhp.

well if you change your mind about a TLs my mate is selling his, its P reg and he`s looking for £1950 ono, I rode it the other day, not scary at all and they do sound the nuts

zx9r, cant fault motor, sounds , but steers like a tanker and no good for trackdays unless your an ape. but i stll like them. im a kwaca man and would only have zx6r or zx10r. cant beat zx7r for looks and front end though. if i didnt have kawasakis i would have a sp2

Mind you, as I was counting out the cash I did tell him if it was a pile of sh!t I'd be back to pay him a visit...

the stories about the tls being scary are complete bollocks! i had one with standard set up,just a set of harris cans on and was a great laugh. they have a lovely punch to them with great instant power but aslong as your not being a nob and dropping a couple geasr and cracking it open mid-corner then theres no problem!

I need to do a swap or p/x very close to value of my bike as money is really tight at the moment due to me building my house...

So I'm now open to 9R, Blade or TL..
