If you already have European roadside assistance/breakdown recovery that is adequate, then just go for personal travel insurance (why spend when you don't have to :wink: ).

We have "family" RAC membership, which covers both of us in the UK in whatever vehicle we are in, but this doesn't extend to Europe ...... hence looking for a combined deal makes sense, for me :D
