if you want to pop unintentional wheelies i'd say buy a thou or a ktm 990.

i had a mate with the k6 and he was popping wheelies at speeds of 60+ because he loved doing them.

it's all about what you want the bike to do and then matching your needs.

It's weird that you're bike doesnt lift, I have a K5 600 which will lift easily thro 1st and 2nd when "giving it some" and thats not even intentional. I don't attempt to wheelie, I'm not confident enough to risk damaging my bike, however it happens and i can control it and i know if i wanted to, i could pop it up thro the gears.

Im sure it's a more than capable bike to wheelie in any gear ... maybe the rider isn't up to the task ? :?

Leroy do you think jason would be able to wheelie it lol

Seriousluy though GK if you want it more lively a lower front sprocket would be better and cheaper than a QA throttle

yeah i was thinnking of this but i still want the top end :/
i think im just going to have to put up with using the clutch. i just really enjoy that feeling of just being able to twist your wriste back and it just comes up.

you can get a 4/5ths insert for the throttle for only £20 so ill give that ago,

it might be just be cus ive done 4000 miles in 2months and im just so used to it its no longer giving me a buzz :?

I felt like the way you are on my bike! I was not riding the bike to the full potential. Do a track day, they are good fun.

Otherwise get some ohlins! I have test ridden a few 600cc il4 and found them a bit boring to my lower powered sv. Maybe you could try a v-twin! The firestorms are meant to be good fun and cheap to insure. Definately cheaper than a k6 600cc!

i was thinking of getting a v-twin but ive only had my gsxr for 2months and its cost me the best part of £5000 if not more plus the £1800 on the insurance :/

i'd be a bit dubious about the £20 throttle insert, most QA's are around the £100 mark and take a while to fit

if you downgeared by 1 tooth on the front you would lose about 6-8mph off the top end and i'd be suprised if your riding there all the time,if you are riding at those speeds all the time then its best you get off the roads whilst you still can  and get out on the track where its safe to ride at those speeds
