Well I took my car out today with nice shiney BS marked plates on
Well they were sticky fixed to the other ones for the MOT anyway and now back in the garage again.

I wouldn't want to get them dirty now would I ?
While were on the law subject can we now use the price william as a defence when we next get pulled with a dark visor

Surely that's for safety and security reasons that he's got a dark visor fitted. The fact mcn printed a shot off him on a black duke wearing customised bks leathers won't give the game away too much. I expect the dukes got a private plate fitted to it as well lol

When i got pulled over and the copper didn't have anything to say and so decided to pick on my dark visor he just waffled on about how he couldn't see out of it properly. But then he was significantly older than me (around simon's age) and so the cataracts had probably started. I didn't get fined or anything, he was just nit picking but I'm a legal law abiding rider that they didn't need to pull over.
Funnily enough, the sun came out in the afternoon and I was glad I had it...

The Law is THE LAW,

we all know and understand the law and when we are breaking it by, ie, speeding, plates, exhausts, tinted visors,

whatever, it is all up to us as individuals and our choices to choose whether to run the risk of knowingly breaking the law and hoping to get away with it, only to get caught, it is then up to us to have to take the responsibility of our actions and blame ourselves and not the police for doing there job, don't get me wrong i had six points on my license for speeding,

my fault entirely and i still choose to exceed the limit now when i go for a ride on the open road, thats my choice and my gamble and i will except the punishment, i'm not going to be happy about it but thats tough titty,

the job of a traffic officer is to uphold all traffic laws whether we like it or not. If we all knew there was never likely to be any law out there ever how much faster do you think we would ride and how many of us would be sat here reading this now and not 6 feet under.

Jeez Deej, you should go for that "Prime Minister" job.
Its so boring reading this anti-police rollocks....
Sadly the people that complain the most about the laws on here, are putting it nicely " thick as [censored]".
If a police car speeds by with no lights and sirens on, thats perfectly legal...
Any Burglary in Progress job, you turn the lights/sirens off close to the address otherwise the criminal would do one, thats 1 example out of many.
Bring back the 80s where you gave the copper any lip and he would of belted you. Would you bitch again? 99% wouldn't and lesson learned.
Police officers are not super human and work with basic tools.

I think you mean Police officers are basic tools of an oppressive government that is taking away our civil liberites.

Its all about stats these days, Scamera vans are better for stats and revenue than catching real criminals like muggers, child molestors and murders.
And before anyone starts on about speed kills blah blah blah.

Its now been shown with goverment figures that the 3 forces that have the greatest number of speed scameras also have the highest number of fatal accidents. No doubt they have the best financial stats though
Yes your right we need more coppers on beats, just walking and in panda cars not in flash high performance unmarked ones so that the police presence can be seen by all.
