graham22 wrote:My project is actually based around people, so much as the bikes are very very pretty and I would very much enjoy photographing them it wouldn't particularly fit my brief. Would suit me better if you could get maybe a small group and could meet up, possibly for a cruise or just a drink in a pub nearby or something.

I could photograph the bikes for you in return?

Thankyou very much for your help,
Love Daisy

Looks like she wants to photograph the riders not the bikes - does she realise how ugly most of you (ok us) are!!!
My bad, I must have misunderstood her original email below.. :erm:

Hello,
I'm a student studying photography at Falmouth University, and I'd really like to photograph a bike meet, or even better a rideout.

Thankyou
Daisy

hhhmmm instead of doing a pub meet could we not all meet up at a beach or nice location somewhere etc that way she gets a pic of all of us lot and our bikes plus a decent back dropinstead of a pub!!

or even somewhere that has like a burger van in a layby or something! i know it sounds stupid but photography students always do diff stuff dont they or like unusual stuff

Beth,

I've had another e-mail back, she's after capturing the interaction between people so guess she wants to oversee a natural enviroment rather than something that's staged etc, I was going to suggest a couple of local beach/scenic area cafes along the lines of what you were thinking.

I have said we have her e-mail address an will let her know next time something's on - she can't make this weekend anyway.

Well I was thinking of organising a pub meet in the next couple of weeks time, can't do next week as I'm busy but I'm free after 22 Nov. Was also considering a ride out on the first weekend in Dec as well, so if she's/ we're free for any of those let me know and I'll post up in the Out and About bit! :D

Have posted a Ride Out for Dec 5th, will happily work a route around this student if she wants, maybe the coffee/ lunch stop could be a rendevous?

I'd happily aim for Jaspers .....
