Good point... I was thinking about this last night! so ended up looking at 2002 ZX6R J2 models..

What is the RR? not sure I've seen one before?
The RR was the homologated 600cc race version of the 636, had different pistons and slipper clutch and was much more track focused than the 636, theres usually a few around and are very keenly priced too

ZX6RR is basically a 600cc motor in the 636 frame, but comes with a slipper clutch, swingarm adjusting pivot and some other stuff.

Also aim for the 04 ZX6RR (It has a black frame) because it has much more racing addons that the 03 version did. Cant remember exact differences, but it was a much more competitive bike out of the crate than the 03 version.

It doesnt make a difference for trackdays, and you probably wouldnt get many proper race 636's anyone because of the cc size.
