lol

I am honestly surprised that I've even noticed the difference from the adjustments I made.
I would have expected clicker adjustments to become apparent on a track, where corners can be replicated and compared, but on the highway with so many changing variables I did not expect to notice much of a difference on one run.
Just keen to see if she feels better now I've put back closer to how she was when I got her.
If so I'll probably just leave her like that, I'm fairly happy with how the sag is.
Next month my other bike comes out again so my SD riding will be further diluted.

Have you looked under the seat, sticker on the side of the tank gives 2 lots of settings, road & track.

I ran mine for 10 years set on the road settings, originally backed these off slightly when the bike was quite new & the standard cans removed (they are very heavy). Put it back to road settings once the suspension had run in.

I'm 12 stone and on these settings I could mark the rear tyre evenly and completely each side, was compliant enough to feel the bike dig in under power coming out of bends & not too firm on the front causing instability. I did have the fork seals replaced & forks serviced over this time, plus the shock serviced too.

KTM did know what they were doing with their settings.

Yes, mine has 3 settings on the sticker and in the manual - Comfort, Basic & Sport.
Mine are currently around mid way between Basic & Sport, not road tested yet.

Generally you want to find your base point then adjust one thing at a time. Don't forget to keep a diary of adjustment and your findings.

I'd be inclined to put it exactly at Basic setting - will be more realistic for roads around here

Also make sure the adjustors, particularly the adjustors at the bottom of the forks, do actually click in & out the right numbers as these are inclined to seize (worth turning these fully in & out once a year). Also that any air is bleed out at the fork tops (with weight off of the bike).

Yep, did that & didn't like it.

Yep, did that too.

The adjuster move just fine, nice positive clicks. To record the initial settings I had to wind them all in, back to the stops, and back out again just to count the clicks.

Got chance to get out on Saturday and had good ride, the bike felt awesome again.
I'll probably stop messing for a while now and just focus on getting use to her. 8)
