I had grip monkeys on mine. Trouble with trumpets are that the comfy seats are crap and the screen on the Tiger sport was too. Think they changed a few things on the later ones due to wind noise etc.... You can chuck the bugger around too.
My MT10 is mental but not so good for touring due to buffeting
Like Ian says, the MT09 Tracer has very good reviews and I'm actually considering getting one. Took one out when they first came out but it wasn't big enough for the 2 of us lol. Only me now so it's a consideration.
Up to you bud. You won't know if you don't try. Versys 1000 might be an option.
