Dear Gerry

Many thanks for your email. The calendar sounds great and thank you so much for choosing the Devon Air Ambulance Trust as one of your nominated charities. We do have a few questions and comments:-

1. Are you going to put in any information on the charities or charity logo/contact details on the back page - this is what some organisations have done previously. If so, we can provide you with a copy of our logo and/or words.

2. Although we do not have the manpower to help sell the calendars for you, we can, of course, issue a press release promoting the calendar and where it can be bought if this helps.

3. If you can write in and give us full details including contact details, we can send you a letter of authority, which confirms that we know you are raising funds for the charity and that you are authorised by ourselves.

Whilst emailing, you may be interested to know we are organising the first of what we hope will be an annual bike ride from our Exeter base to North Devon base. There are further details on the home page of our website at http://www.daat.org. This is 9th July starting at 1100 hours. If you would like us to send you further information when the posters are available again please put this in the letter setting out the full details.

Thank you once again for choosing the charity as one of the beneficiaries of your hard work.

Best wishes,
Sarah

Hi ALL,
I've posted this letter up from The Devon Air Ambulance Trust to keep you all informed as to the response we are getting from the Charities we've nominated to donate funds to. I had to ask for permission to post it first, so my apologies for not putting it up sooner.

Many thanx

Gerry

Hi All,
Now had confirmation from Biker Dave of Plymouth Sound Radio that he will be appearing in the Calender , he has also said he would be happy to help promotion on Air for the Calender Launch.
There are a few extra surprises lined up for the pictures, but please be patient with me, I can't post up all of this till I get the authority to do so.

Hi to all the Calender models who have not yet had their photos taken.
Can you all let me know when you're available ,PLEASE.

We need to get going on the outdoor shoots as well as the indoor shoots.

I would like to complete the Calender by the end of July so we can go to print.

If anyone is going away, then we could get another volunteer lined up.

Our next shoot is March.I will give you my mobile contact number once you've pm'd me.

Many thanx

HI TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS.

Our photographer has been called away to France to work for 3-4 weeks.

When he returns we would like to finish ALL the shoots and go to print by the end of July/beginning of August.
The SWB CAlender launch is set to be by the end of August.

The Devon and Cornwall Air ambulance plus Plymouth Sound Radio will be promoting the launch on behalf of Southwestbikers.com.

Many thanx to everyone so far for your help and participation.

Well now, we appear to be missing a SWB member for today's shoot!
Is there a volunteer out there who would or could be available to stand in (with a bike) to do March Mechanical Month?

I have gone to great lengths to get us a venue, organise costumes for the ladies, get everyone together in one place at the same time is proving to be a really big challenge

If Anyone fancies being in this Calender shoot I need to hear from you by 12noon on the number below (In signature)

If we don't get this done we may have to scrap the whole thing!!!

Many thanx

Gerry

HI GUYS AND GALS.
we are going to do 2 more shoots and then go to print. It's going to be a late starter for launching cos a lot of peeps have dragged their heels.
July and January will be the last ones, so then we will select 2 of the best photos from each of the shoots we've done to date to fill all the months.

July volunteers, we need your answer as to weather you still want to do this, if not then Funky and Andrew will take your place.

I will let you know all the details for that one when I receive your PM, the same goes for July please.

The cost for these Calenders will probably cost around £6 each and will be on sale in the bike shops and selected places which I will list on the forum for you nearer the time.
