Well, everyone got back to the UK in one piece, and I think everyone had a good time?
Didn't take many (any) photo's I'm afraid ....... but a quick run through -
Thursday: Off the ferry into a misty/drizzly Cherbourg saw the weather cheer up to a murky overcast ..... followed by some more light rain for the last 15-20 miles to the B&B. Arrival at the B&B was greeted by a fridge full of cold beer and the most perfect meal for the day/weather!
Friday: A day that started slightly grey but ended up sunny, with a lovely bimble around the Breton countryside taking in wall towns, rivers and Chateaux, followed by a fridge full of cold beer, a wonderful evening meal and a game of Uno
Saturday: Another sunny day which included a nice bimble around some more lovely countryside, a visit to a wonderful car museum, Go-Kart grand prix, a brilliant evening meal, and a "Pub Quiz" (B&B Quiz?) to round the day off.
Sunday: A scorchio day which involved bimble to some lovely old towns, the sea-side, ice cream, and yet another fridge full of cold beer and a superb evening meal.
Monday: The (not so) long trip home in (once again) scorchio weather. Evening meal courtesy of Brittany Ferries definitely not up to what we've become used to(!) and a quick blat westwards from Poole.
Little snippets - "U" turns, Bank of Burnham, Hairdressers & R1's not liking the rain, Back protectors which hurt backs, caraffe's of red wine & scout leaders, someones bedroom olympics that seemingly back-fired on them (hope you're better soon, that really didn't look comfortable !!).......
And to round up: Mototaranis is a wonderful place - anyone wanting a base to explore Brittany, a weekend away, or just a place to stop on their way past could do no better than stay there. Brilliant hosts, comfy beds, and food that makes you want to live there. Very highly recommended - indeed you owe it to yourselves to go there!!
And to finish up, thanks to Nick (Red5) for the idea and organising it, Thanks to Mr Smiler, Pod and Nick for group leading duties, Smiler & Mrs Kawasakiracer for cake/flapjack making, Smiler for trying to herd cats, and thanks everyone that went for making it the weekend it was!
Right then, back to reality .........
