Might be a couple of waves as we cross the front line to West of Tamar. Think we're going to be all systems go though.
Flask and packed breakfasts though, anyone know how we can pack a fry up in a tank bag??

So far it looks like no cafes are open at 7am ( not even Maccies) but obviously things are changing on a weekly basis. So far its 10 am opening times so late brekky take away somewhere on the route back up. I'll be at Tesco, St. Austell to welcome you all.

Looks like so far Iām the only one who has voted for us to still go ahead. Could always do another one later as well though.

Currently it stands at 5 against, 4 for. I will attend either way. There are going to be further announcements about social distancing in the next two weeks, could be coming down to 1 meter, they may also revise groups size etc as it's all linked into getting Pubs open. As for daylight time for riding early etc. the difference will be minimal as long as we rearrange for within a month's time.
Just to make everyone aware whilst it seems the country has abandoned any Covid distancing, rules etc ( it would seem the death of one man is far more important than the deaths of 43,000 +) there is quite a bit of animosity towards treating Cornwall as if it's open to the public again. A lot of this stems from holiday home owners trying to drive here to isolate, putting further pressure on our one Hospital and group rides locally face similar pressures due to potential for accidents, again stretching already stretched resources. This doesn't of course mean you get pelted with rocks and faeces when you cross the border, but the cops are a lot more on it than up country, as are residents reporting gatherings etc. Lands End is closed to the public, but I believe the car park is open.
Personally I would prefer to hang on for a couple more weeks, see what happens with the Pubs and we may find a bigger welcome, with earlier opening times on cafes etc.
