Do we need to make a decision or book now?

Well, the agent that negotiated the deal is pressing me for an answer as once they let out one room we're not going to be able to book the whole place.
Hopefully I'll be able to have a brainstorming session on Sunday with the village idiots, sorry, elders, and see if they've got a better idea.

Yeah. Hopefully Phil will have details of the other places he's been looking at and we'll have a mature discussion on Sunday. Hopefully us idiots will not be drooling too much.

Can I suggest we start a list of interested parties by room mate or couple. I suspect we will get more than 14 wanting to come. Then someone has to decide who gets a place, or it will at least inform the number of rooms required You can certainly put Wendy and I down for a room.

Are you inviting the Brummie contingent?

Haven't heard from Wayne or Kirk for nearly two years. They haven't been to any of our B-King meets either. I'll give them a heads up; though their wit and noisy participation seems unlikely. You'll have to put up with taking the piss out of us usual suspects

If we go ahead with the deal that Ming has got then we've only 3 places left for the SWB gang...

As you may well have suspected I've asked Andy "Ming" to go ahead with finalising the deal he's got for us. We've 13 attendees on the list now and with a capacity of 14 that leaves 1 place up for grabs.....

Mistake !

He'll be modifying you during the night and you'll wake up with some guttering glued to you and an old coke can instead of a hand.

Okay. I've had a chat with the agent handling the booking and she will need some details from everybody who is going, along with a £15 deposit per person. I did ask about a reduction in price as there are supposed to be maximum capacity for every room but the owner is asking for the original quote of £135 per person as a). he's concerned that food prices may rise following Brexit and b). he's one of the only places in Wales that are actually taking bookings that far ahead with the guarantee that if the Government has banned travel we get a full refund. They're doing it from Friday for 2 weeks so it could happen again next year - although of course we're all hoping it'll be fine by then. The price is still less than you'd normally pay as he gave us a good price as we wanted the whole hotel.

Now, I think it's best that everyone going contacts Emma at emma.diamond@travelcounsellors.com or on 0203 020 1930 and gives her the details she needs and pays the deposit direct to her. We can pay the balance when we're there direct with the hotel. If anyone needs to drop out after the deposit has been paid let me know and we'll try to get a substitute in but they will also need to lodge their contact details. I've a feeling this is going to be a common procedure for a while yet. Just mention that it's the booking in my name, Andy Thomas.

She will need the following:
Full Name

DOB

Home Address

Email Address

Dietary Requirements - Preferences/Allergies

Room Required - Twin/Double/Single

Card Details - Long Card No, Exp Date, CVV No

Can I ask that you let me know when you've done the above so I can keep a track of what's what.

This is why it's best to deal direct with Emma as I don't want everybody's card details on my laptop and I'm sure you don't either, although I could probably max out most of them if I tried hard enough.......
