cheers guys, got to wait 2 weeks for retest. well upset

Bad Luck chap !

The best advice I can give (as a one-time instructor) is to spend the next 2 weeks riding like you would not normally......

We all ride differently to what an examiner expects to see (if we are honest - do you really do m-s-l/s-m EVERY time , stick to speed limits, approach junctions in the correct lane, etc., )

Spend the next 2 weeks riding as you have been taught / the examiner expects to see you, so that it is ingrained into your thought process, then the test itself becomes "just another ride". 2 weeks of that (and having your mates make jokes about you) compared to a lifetime of bigger bikes

I took 3 attempts at my car test and 5 at my HGV mostly because i am nervous as hell about things like that. But got through the bike test 1st time,but would have been a bit of twerp not to after all as a i was 43 and been driving, trucks ,cars, tractors etc since i was 16 not to mention riding bikes as well for 3 or 4 days before , so practice makes perfect so go for it again practice all you can good luck keep your chin up, I know how depressing it is to fail but the pass makes you feel ontop of the world,
Oh and by the way i fel off the sons CG125 on the front lawn practicing my u turns on the morning of my test .

Bad luck mate, just be safe in the knowledge that these trials make us stronger, you'll be a better rider for it and wise man say 'onree the best do not past first rime'

cheers gus, feelijng a bit better, surpose its ok can atleast i can still ride a bike, just more annoyed at myself for making such silly mistakes.

Bad luck Baskie....know how you feel...failed first time as well! Just keep on riding and fingers crossed for the retest

Dont worry mate, in less thantwo weeks its my turn and then the boot will be on the other foot im sure, i'm not so good at tests either. Look on the bright side...you can just have another crack

You could have bought a cbr600 and gone for direct access

bad luck mate, i failed my car test 1st time through nerves, second time round i pretended it was just a normal day-wouldn't even say the word 'test' and i had the best drive ever relax and enjoy it...good luck

Right guys and girls, my test tomorrow, and for a really positive person to think they are going to fail is just bad news from the off really. Seem to have a twitchy throttle hand and my foot almost always goes down on the u-turns, but hey, my test is at 9:30 and a zx6r (as seen below) is getting delivered to my front door at 11.30.......how pissed will i be if i fail!
