I'll be in for a 1st aid course Speedy, if you can arrange one for the Plymouth guys/gals. Date depending of course.

Great job Rash. I don't htink I would have done anything different, but what do I know. I'm not a first aider. Sounds like good advice generally though.

Thats for infants and babys :) , its 15 breaths/ 2 compressions. 1/3rd of the way into their chest :D . Keep taking even if he passes out because he will still be able to hear you and if he did pass out dont put him in a recovery position.
Sorry in advance for all those who are about to be offended...BUT...

The above post & others illustrates the point... If you don't know.. don't post..a little knowledge is DANGEROUS.

Even 'qualified' First Aiders have only completed a 4-day course.. they are not paramedics & haven't completed 5-years of medical training and are not therefore in a position to pass on potentially lifesaving info to others.

By all means get some training under your belt for your benefit..highly recommended but if you want to teach others get properly qualified through the right channels..

Rant over..
Did you mean I was wrong! I spent 2 weeks on a NPLQ course to become a Lifegaurd that I am now! :D
