I use Mobil1 fully 10w 40 at the moment.

10w-40 is fine for the other one too, semi cost choice, fully quality choice.

The Castrol is fine and we do it at a good price ;)

Thanks Guy, you've pretty much confirmed what I've always thought Re: semi cost choice, fully quality.
Up until last year I used Silkolene Pro 4, the only reason I swapped to Castrol was because the local dealer didn't have any Silkolene.

Ive got Silkolene ;)

How often would you recommend changing oil?

As per the book unless you are tracking the bike or it is modified in which case the change periods should be shortened.
