Judging by the three pages this thread has reached already, I'd say some people would dissagree :D

I think if you thought that, you'd just ignore it and wouldn't respond,

Does that make you an experienced member then or a newbie forum member?

Surely if you used the forum everyday it would give you more experience than say a 20 year forum that only typed on a sunday with his IAM buddys on a hot summers day??

Sorry, sorry Stately moment there

This whole thread reflects what biking has become.

It's all pretend.

"I've spent £1000's on my state of the art lightweight sports bike, complete with colour coordinated off the peg lifestyle, so I'm a biker Goddamit"

Er, no you are not.

You remind me of those sad pregnant goldfishies who dress up as cowboys at weekends.

It's all about your image, and has nothing to do with a passion for motorcycles.

Personally, I wish you idiots would stick to hangliding, bunjee jumping, go karting, or whatever else you used to do for you discovered bikes as a way of massaging your flagging ego's

What is a real biker

Surely a real biker is someone who's out on their bike instead of posting on forums???

Bye now, I'm off home to kick the XR straight after yesterday's abuse.

Sh1t - that means I'm not riding it (or the SD) suppose that makes me a skilled engineer instead of a biker :?

Er, no you are not.
So I fit in with that, not quite sure what an off the peg lifestyle is though. But apparently I am a biker?

You might fall into the newbie category though

The average rider has only been riding a few years :D

BORING..

I rode around europe in November 2008 on a ducati 1098S.....I think I could class myself as a biker.I lost my licence twice because of biking, have crashed a few times but still carried on....Like virtually everyone on here(cept the licence losing part)

Between 17-22 years of age,23 now.... I was always skint due to bikes, high insurance etc.I missed loads of holidays abroad with mates as I was saving for something bling like a full system etc. My life was ruled by bikes.
