PM's are supposed to be private but if you want to make it public that's fine.billinom8s wrote:it would appear that our new 'user' calling themselve skinza is admitting to being the legendary internet/forum troll known as stately.
i can only assume this going by the pm i was sent this evening.
it reads as follows

I don't mind if you have my home address and work address etc. but am alarmed that you have publically declared that you will sell this information.
I have already attempted to take legal action against you for publishing my mobile phone number and paid a solicitor for a consultation, but it seems that you quite wisely deleted that information and I was advised in view of that it wouldn't be worth going any further.
However this is different.
I suspect that if you do have personal information, then it probably came from soemone who works for the same company as me who is also a member of this club because I have never given out my address on any website.
I do not know this person, but If so, then a very serious breach of confidentiality has taken place which I intend to get to the bottom of.
Someone has accessed information about me held on file and disclosed it to a third party without my permission.
Anyway.
In the meantime, if I find so much of a blade of grass out of place at my property, I will report it to the Police.
This time I have printed off the post in which you offer to sell personal information about me so there will be no grey area next time.
I do not know what makes you think you have the right to obtain and then sell personal information about me, but I can assure you that I will now go to the ends of the earth to find out how you obtained it and take action accordingly.
now please, no-one under any circumstances try and find out where he lives and mow his lawn !!!!
i cannot understand how and why skinza, or whoever they may be, would take such offence to a harmless post that has been written in the context and humour that runs throughout this site, unless of course that said user has a mild case of paranoia and guilty conscience, who knows ??????????????![]()

Offering to provide personal information about anyone for a price is a very serious business.
Yeah I'm Andy.
I've never claimed otherwise, so well done Sherlock.
So who gave you this personal info.
Actually don't answer that.
I have a very good idea already, and if I am right, then a very serious offence has taken place.
I have been getting a few nuisance phone calls lately.
Now I know why at last.
The evidence is here in black and white.
