Not that it's got anything to do with this thread, which is about a private deal involving an employee, rather than a dealer themselves, personally I find it rather sad that people are not allowed to express their opinions of a place without people jumping down their throats

I can't beleive there's a dealer in the region who doesn't have at least one or two people who've had bad experiences of them ..... If a persons experience is valid, good or bad, why shouldn't they comment ?
Friends of mine own/run/work in places that have had people here take a pop at them - that's the individuals choice, and not my problem. Their experience doesn't reflect mine, so I don't let it concern me unduly. I'm as happy to see poor experiences of places made public just as much as good - and if the dealer cares, they'll pay attention because otherwise they'll never improve.
I'd be interested if the same reaction was given to comments made about Bridge/GT/Speed etc., .......

moose the issue has nothing to do with the shop itself, just a private deal that went south, stupidly on stu's part. hopefully he'll learn his lesson that you dont shit on your own doorstep
i still stand by my point on page 1 that this thread should never have been started about a NON swb member in the first place, especially one who has no interest in the site

Deej, re-read the first line of my post
I can't comment about the validity of the thread as I have never met the person concerned (at least not knowingly), but it has gone sadly off-topic

Moose, You are of course correct in as much that anyone can express an opinion and agreed there would be no objection from most (certainly not me)if this was posted about 'other dealers', however, this in my case was about defending my friends, not a dealer.
I think what's happened here is some people (I'm one) are sick of spotty faced, snotty nosed kids coming on here, posting cr@p, running up a post count with smiley faces and generally running their mouths off about people they don't even know.
I remember the days when 'Noobs' were treated as such and waited a while before expressing opinions about people...

Well said Nick !! Agree with you 100% on what you say !! I don't even look at SP as a dealer just a mates place with loads of bikes to drool over

Well this seems to have got quite out of hand, no?
There was me thinking we were all adults
Surely personal opinions are valid and allowed to be voiced, in retail if no one voiced bad or good opinions how would we rate service, its only fair theres others posts ive seen on here before slagging off garages and other posts showing just how some go for extra mile for customer satisfaction.

That statement always makes me laugh... 'Everyone's entitled to their opinion'
It seems that way unless the person expressing theirs doesn't agree with the person who originally expressed theirs...
Thereby contradicting somewhat the statement... 'Everyone's entitled to their opinion' ...
And I repeat... say what you like about retailers, garages etc, but pick on my mates and I'll express my opinion.
