I have tweaked the settings following seeing this !!!

If you are the originator ( person that wrote the original post ) and the post has had no further posts in the past 2 (TWO) days then when looking at the post, look at the bottom of the screen and you will see the words "Bump Topic", clicking these will bump the Topic correctly and put it back at topic of the new posts listing.
