Winters here so what are you doing with your bikes?

Just ordered a Brembo radial master cylinder 19x20 and spare lever.

I usually give the bike a spray with degreaser on the oily and chain oily parts, then a good soaking down with hot soapy water all over and then go back to the lower oily and proper grimy parts with refreshed HOT water and a good bike or car wash, using up all the grimy water and a grimy rag and sponge, rinse bucket thoroughly and then wash all the panels and body work with again fresh HOT soapy water, finally then rinse with the hose. Hot water helps shift the crap quickly and only a fraction of the work is done through a hose, the rest in two buckets so not too much dent in your meter!

By hot soapy water, you don't mean washing up liquid do you?

I used to use that stuff years ago but read that it's got a lot of salt in it and isn't any good for washing bikes.

No I generally use Turtlewax Wash and Wax, but I might try a specific bike wash next as my supersized bottle is finally empty ;) !

I have finally finshed my carb overhaul now nicely balanced pick up better with small throttle openings and suspension sorted its suprising how much more feel you get when its set up properly cheers.
