Bl dy weather!

Went for a spin last night..... ( think I may have upset the owner of a nearly new Audi 4x4 thing who tried in vain to overtake me just after a 30 limit, joined duel carriage with-without indicating he swung out to try and pass me, I let him pull level...I think you can guess the rest I know it's slightly childish but I get a kick out of it every time)

......anyway got home, maneuvering the bike into it's spot in the garage and ping-the clutch cable snapped! So now frantically trying to get a new one and fit it before Sunday-but looking at the forecast doesn't look like I need to hurry.
Perhaps I should sell my bike and get one of these instead?

Sort of hope it is postponed, worn through my front brake pads Not sure if i can get new ones in time. Back brake ftw.

I think this year is going to be like last year, good weather all week when your working then come the weekend its crappy so best get a job you only have to work weekends then you have all week to ride

well just as an idea could always put it back a week to the 20th cos the bude ride doesn't look that popular

then i can go

i will see what weather is like on sat and make the call then. I don't have a problem with putting it back ANOTHER week but don't wanna jump to conclusions when it comes to this country and its bloody weather.

A good call Si considering Monday and Tuesday this week were both forecast as 60-70% rain in the long range forecasts .....

my other half wants me to go up north to visit a friend if its off(think he's hoping for rain )

forecast from one company says rain, from other says not.

billi sad...didn't get bike MOT'd and going to Ilfracombe to celebrate birthday so will not be coming on ride,,but to echo other comments..weather does not look very favourable anyway...maybe next time..
