I'd go for 10 squid for the year.
But i do like the standing order idea @ a 1 pound a month.
This will up it to 12 squid and like already mentioned if there is overs and if DAVE decides he can make up some sort of advertisement for site which will then gain more members = more money

I think the total paid up members is 70 but these are over nearly 2 years so that makes a total of £350 so now you can see how much out of pocket dave is.

i'm not saying this for definatly but just putting it out there as a point of view.
why not make it £5 a year, then if people would like to contribute more they can make a donnation. i'm only a student and £10 isn't too much but it's alot for me. If you in full time work then it's not going to matter as much. Also if you want to attract more people, keeping at £5 but for one year as aposed to two would keep attracting new people but by setting at £20 or somthing you may end up losing people.

I think £10 is a good deal for proper bikers, "L" plates, non-plymouth/exeter lot, students, OAP (no names

) should get discount and chased up when their circumstances change (except OAPs, it never going to change

) they should be chased up
I do like the standing order idea but prefer to pay outright (personally)
Also i think the "L" plates should get there own thread in the members forum (thatll make um pay)

Discount for having "L" plates? Do they make you hard up?

Having a 125 section maybe a good idea though.

i think having a 125 section would be a really good idea, not to make anyone feel ostracised because your a biker what ever the size of your engine (except scooters, obivously

) but just alot of questions about them are quite specfic and it would be handy having a place for that.
actually, saying that, i'd be happy paying £10 a year, was just freaking out beacuse i was doing my finance today, or rather lack of it.

Personally i'd like to see Dave post how much he realistically needs to be paid because he is genuine enough not to rip us off.

I paid Dave £10 last year, and will do the same for the renewal, Due now actually.
I've no problem with paying £10 per year.

however if more is done to make others pay up dave wouldnt be out of pocket, now im all for paying £10 a year but im not up for paying for users that havent ands will not pay so first and formost a major clean up is needed to see excetly how many users we really have got and not just names on a list under the member list
just my thoughts

Ten Pounds a year for full membership and discount for students etc is a good idea. And a cut off month so if you have not paid bt then your membership and user name is suspended.

and
Peps who go on the Track day, but are not members, should pay £5 extra.
ie Cost £55 with £5 discount for members.

Sod that for a lark I'm outta pocket enough as it is as well, without paying 51 x £5 becuase peeps are members. The price was set at £50 so we cant go back on that now, that would be unfair
