You need to make the ride leader & tec aware of your intentions, and ensure the TEC clearly understands you are leaving the group when you do :-bd

Turns out there's a Fish and sea food festival (WTF?) on the front so no parking at Jasper's.

Any locals know of any Places to visit to grab food and drink?

Yes I have been there a few times, food is good and friendly too.
