A month to go so let's plan the ride up on the Friday. Route from my gaff to Dolforwyn Hall will be:-

I'm thinking of leaving home 12.00 to be at M5 jcn27 12.20. Who will be joining the ride where? South Devon contingent could meet me at jcn27 services and Wendy, Phil and Alan a bit further north perhaps with John & Nicola meeting us at Chepstow or Aust????

And there's still one place available in the hotel. So for interested parties I'll repeat the booking details that our accommodation guru Andy (ming) posted earlier:-

Now, I think it's best that everyone going contacts Emma at emma.diamond@travelcounsellors.com or on 0203 020 1930 and gives her the details she needs and pays the deposit direct to her. The deposit is £15 per person and the rate is £135 for two nights dinner bed & breakfast We can pay the balance when we're there direct with the hotel. If anyone needs to drop out after the deposit has been paid let me know and we'll try to get a substitute in but they will also need to lodge their contact details. I've a feeling this is going to be a common procedure for a while yet. Just mention that the hotel booking is in my name, Andy Thomas.

She will need the following:
Full Name

DOB

Home Address

Email Address

Dietary Requirements - Preferences/Allergies

Room Required - Twin/Double/Single

Card Details - Long Card No, Exp Date, CVV No

Can I ask that you let me (ming or ptolemyx) know when you've done the above so I can keep a track of what's what.

Wendy, yep Sedgemoor 12.50 :-bd

John, Aust services is fine but when we get there is a mystery.....if traffic lets us get on with it assuming leave Sedgemoor 13.00 see you 13.40 BUT if the M5 is as chocka as last time then :-?? stand by your mobile in that situation. And it wouldn't be our Wales weekend without stopping at the Oasis for their dishwater coffee

Saturday ride last leg:-

https://goo.gl/maps/MziDSZUhwt4uNwxV7

80 miles via Bala back to Dolforwyn Hall for a total of 211 miles.

We could make this longer via Machynlleth and redo the Dylife pass over to Llanidloes which could be 106 miles making a total of 237 miles.....bearing in mind we'll be riding home the next day???

Looks like y'all gonna have some fun, but take it easy and keep your wits about you - You'll be right in the heart of Traffic Taliban country, and they'll be out in force for the weekend warriors treating the place like a racetrack. Bear it in mind, and have a fab time :-bd

Never had a problem with policing in Wales. It's a myth.
