nope we had 3 groups and were running on the national circuit with a laptime around 1.30 hence the 11 or 12 laps we got in. im sure there was a lunch break as the track staff usually have to stop for their lunch,if we didnt stop it was because the day was being followed by a evening session so they couldnt afford to overrunjulian wrote:If donninton this year is half as good as last year, it will still be awesome.

As far as track time is concerned… we had 4 groups last year, which will be the same for this year. However, if my memory serves me correctlywe did not stop for lunch, but I believe there is an hours break at focused.
But…..only myself and gav did the last session last year. soooooo all you need to do is the last session and you would get the same track time as last year. Its also £40 cheaper![]()
As for the lack of laps per session, I for one will be trying to squeeze in more by going faster![]()

The proof will be in the pudding. But it was nice to hear that gsxrsi and bat fastard had a good time

How the hell can you think am i 6ft away on track while concentrating on braking and turning in and passing someone who may be s hite in the corners but quick down the straightsjason wrote:on the plus side they got the track time in. so they met the main objective....everything else is secondry. So they where no where near as bad as I thought they might be.
on the bad side they have s hite rules on overtaking ...6ft radius no overtaking mid corner!?!?!, and the briefing is done to arrogently for my liking. I just ignored their overtaking rules and got away with it, although we did have to put up with the FE guy ranting at our group for over taking mid corner![]()
how lame is that?...and my friend who was doing his first track day got a telling off.
Also they have the no overtaking on the last lap rule - which i dislike..but those things said it didnt detract from the day to much.
exactly my thoughts toojason wrote:I would use them again but only as a last resort, if they had a date and track I was after.
