Mallory, Friday May 4th

twas a good day. bloody cold and wet to start with - so the tea came out.

the track did dry out eventually. with no wind and little sun though it took its bloody time.


after lunch though it was proper dry and the games started taster for llandow ??????

top day in all, camp bastion got setup quickly and everyone settled in.

video taken at lunch, as you can see, it wasn't exactly the busiest trackday any of us have been too


track was pretty greasy with the rain and then the added bonus of someone in novice, with an r6, dumping oil all over the racing line on gerrards and i think edwinas (might be wrong on that one) but they couldn't put down any cement dust as it would have set and added small jumps to the track.

Well driving up on thursday evening I didn't think it was going to be a good day at Mallory raining. At 0700 I didn't think it was going to be a good day. Wet and 6 degrees great british weather.
But !
Once that first session starts your out on track (first time this year) you kinda remember why you do it and forget about the crap winter months. The SWB members also make it a good day out having a crack or 2.

Mallory never seems to let you down always great entertainment. Track was almost dry by the afternoon sessions.

Big thanks to all great day thanks chris k5 for driving , great pics as well gav / kelly why do you not do this full time totally ace just like the pro's only you would turn up.

see you all at landow if not before.
