What route are you thinking of the Snozz to Lands End, Badger?

You could try a bikini, helmet and gloves if the weathers niceSmiler wrote:Blimmin eck!! Less than a week away to the RTTB!
ooohhhhh, now....what shall I wear....?
However, given the current forecasts, a wetsuit may prove more appropriateAshM750 wrote:You could try a bikini, helmet and gloves if the weathers niceSmiler wrote:Blimmin eck!! Less than a week away to the RTTB!

going by the state of the road it should be ok by sunday aslong as they don't do anymore!! the newquay airport part of that road is now fine just needs some new whites (a few corners are still a lil twitchy) and the main stretch is fine until the sharp bend after the bridge but that should be cleared up again before sunday aswell I was thinking will meet you guys at Penzance but im Night 3 of 4 that day so ill probably be dead to the world by 8ambadgerKDD wrote:Yeah thanks for that Slugs' ( I like that nickname ;) ) I mentioned it was being 'Top dressed' and thats the expected result, loose gravel and sticky tarmac spots, lovely.
reckon I'll just go up the A38 a bit and come across on the St. Wenn road, that still comes out onto Goss Moor, just the other end!
I've got two options in mind, depends on arrival time to St. Austell. I everyone arrives by 5 ish and we can be away by 5.20/25 then it'll be direct to Truro, across the top to A30, off at Avers roundabout ( Redruth) take Portreath to Hayle coast road, skirt St.Ives, to st.Just then across the top to Lands End. Does some of the windy coast road but is reasonably timed. If the weather is iffy and we leave St. Austell 5.30 or later, then it'll be Truro to A30 as before, but then take A30 all the way to Lands end, not so twisty until Penzance outskirts but definitely quicker!TLS-Moose wrote:What route are you thinking of the Snozz to Lands End, Badger?
Neither of those routes goes anywhere near the previously mentioned Goss Moor?badgerKDD wrote:I've got two options in mind, depends on arrival time to St. Austell. Still can only get vague weather report but should get more detailed in next couple of days, looking like could be sunshine and showers for Cornwall though?
That's because Goss Moor is on the Penzance to Victoria return leg, not the St. Austell to Lands End run. ;)TLS-Moose wrote: Neither of those routes goes anywhere near the previously mentioned Goss Moor?
