That's interesting
So what you are saying there is that someone who uses a motorcycle for the purposes of every transport alone, is not really a biker ?
So it seems that perhaps we do after all, like to define what a real biker is.

This is just my opinion I personally see biking as a hobby or recreation and riding as just going from A to B! but it is only my opinion

I'd suggest that if people did find the topic so boring and tedious, then they wouldn't bother replying to it, and it wouldn't have reached seven pages.
Sadly, as with any forum, there are people like you who feel that they are in a position to treat others like children, and dictate to them what they should, or shouldn't read.
If not, then let people decide for themselves by voting with their feet and ignoring the topic.
Then it would just die a natural death.
I think what really irks you is that people do like to debate it, and rather than admit that, you would rather have the topic banned.
Censorship, I think it's called

Unfortunately wherever you go, especially in the "free" world, censorship in one form or another is prevalent
Another form of censorship, which Simon and I enjoy the privelege of is the ability to ban people who seem to exist purely to cause disharmony

At the end of the day everyone is entitled to their own opinions. These opinions should not be forced upon others and everyone should be open minded enough not to lower the tone of the thread if they don't agree with what is being said. This forum is supposed to be somewhere for people who are into bikes in whatever capacity, to discuss and share their views with like minded people.

Yep Lock it and ban stanley, andyals, Mary or whatever he wants to call today.

Although it is fun sometimes he's just boring now
Just put an section on the site registration form where you cant cut and paste your answer and that should stop him returning

If you don't like the channel, just turn it over.
Interesting that people seem to avoid answering that particular issue.
I wonder why

Seeing this guy litter the site with his comments which lead to bad feeling amongst members and causes general offence is not amusing. At first I tried to keep an open mind about what he was saying but it really is beyond a joke, And yes I see his comment about 'changing the channel' but surely if he continues to upset people at this rate, there will be no other channel to 'watch'..
