Just joined here so a quick hello. I'm Jay (Justin) and live in Yarnscombe in north Devon, not far from Barnstaple. Moved down here a few years ago but haven't seemed to find time for social rides. I've been riding bikes for over 30 years now though apart from commuting a few years ago whilst in London, never seeming to 'just go out for a ride for fun' anymore. I was a courier in London and Birmingham back in the late 80's along with being an instructor for the old Star Rider training scheme for a while, if any of you remember that.

I recently sold my TTR 250 as there never seemed to be time to get out and enjoy it, which leaves the most recent of my 1150GS's in the barn gathering dust and looking lonely. It really needs to see a bit more road time so I figured I'd try and find a few folks to get out and enjoy it with.

Hoping that as the world gets back to some semblance of normality I can join up on some rides and get back into swinging round a few bends.

Good to have you with us. Hope that we get to see you one one of our ride outs soon. As the rules on Covid Lock Down are improving we are starting to see rides planned in groups of 6 people so keep and eye on the ride out section and put your name down.

Seems like you have quite a bike history and what better bike to enjoy our current road then a GS, cracking bike.

Welcome Justin, friend of mine has a GS, seems a fairly capable all round bike and he loves it.

Hi all, well life did a few of it's nasty surprises over the past few months and the bike stayed put in the barn but I'm hoping to get out on some of the rides coming up in the next few months. See you out there soon I hope.
