Are you meaning something like this??
Welder fabricator I may know a guy
As for painting dunno anyone at the moment.
For chroming how about going to a chrome powder coat anyways? Will last well outside and probably a lot cheaper
Where abouts are you? Or a photo of the mud guard may help.

I do a lot of welding/fabricating at the garage I work at. If you sent me some pics of exactly what you want and as long as it's mild steel I can probably help. Send me a message if your interested.
Cheers Dan

Hi Dan
I am in Honiton, yeah its mild steel and quite heavy gauge as its a cruiser i want more of the back showing the trouble is the rear light fits into the rear fender...
so i need the tail section so most owners of the yam Warrior have around 2" cut out the centre then welded back together i will be having it sprayed over winter so its a job for later just need to make some connections i will send u pickies when i get 5 mins mate. best if we can hook up so you can see it.

If you look at the photos above that was a 6inch section cut out and removed from a triumph bobber rear mud guard. Tig welded butt joint and sectioned to get the edges lined up due to there being a slight flair on it.

I'm willand but always floating around.
I know it will be linished off and then primed and painted.
Like this job above was on a 12month of triumph bobber. And done so people didnt know it wasnt factory.
Being an ex panel beater and mechanic always helps.
Now do dairy food stainless steel welding (hygiene)
Plus the nice thing with tig is can minimise heat input and distortion.
This is some of the alloy I have done

Cheers Dan. I do try and take pride in the tig work. Especially the welding and fabrication side of things.
Last year did a pie cut exhaust for a low level speed triple exhaust as the link pipes were not available for that specific can. And that was a good laugh.
I have some intercooler pipes to do on my subaru and been pushing the alloy work of late to improve and get to a standard where I am happy. Getting closer now and just feel i need to organise my work station a bit better for the next steps.
Also planning on making some crazy bits and pieces of the zzr600 build in my head. Like custom alloy tubular subframe and panelled infill.
