Hello all, just found the forum, I'm over in the keynsham, not long moved here.
Currently without bike, my Duke 690 was stolen from my garage recently and I'm going to be replacing with someone completely different.
Looking forward to being an active part here and getting to know some bikers in the area.

Yeah its a bugger, caught the people doing it on my cameras, they were at it for about 2 hours. Frustratingly my phone was pinging off notifications but I was out cold, got two new twins.
I'll be replacing with something a little more relaxed (probably going to go for a 883 Iron), also beefing up the garage with all kinds of ground anchors and floor bolts.
Look forward to getting involved in some ride outs as the weather and the family allows.

Try using a baby monitor. Transmitter in the garage, receiver in your room.

Seriously sucks about the stolen bike. Hoping the insurance company is going to give you a decent pay out so you can get a nice replacement.

I'm happy to report that the insurance company wasn't a total shocker, didn't receive as much as it was worth - do we ever? - but enough to get myself moved onto another bike.
I keep an eye on ebay under a few categories and was pleasantly surprised to see a great semi-pro garage build come up at a reasonable price. Took the gamble and I'm now on a bike that gives me way more smiles per miles than the duke did. A net win.
