Anyone interested in some relaxed rides out to some coffee spots as the weather starts up.
I'll be combining 2 of my interests this summer and exploring routes and coffee shops around the south west with very relaxed rides. Probably looking at about an hour out, hour back type range to start of with. Leaving from the Bristol / Keynsham area.
Looking to see if others would be interested in joining / getting involved. This type of riding suits my lifestyle, got 2 young kids so can't get away for huge day / weekend long ride outs, but love to get out on my bike even for short periods.
I ride a 1986 KZ550 thats been semi-pro customised, it's fun to ride but not one that can sit comfortably much above 65, with that in mind I'm very much thinking casual country road jaunts rather than knee down blasts.
Open to all that would find this interesting, if you have a classic style bike for me to drool over, even better!

You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Re: Coffee Capers
Suggest you post it up in the ride out section as a Friendly ride. We will promote it on our Facebook page and the Whatsapp broadcast and then everybody will see it if they are looking for a ride out.
By highlighting it as a Friendly ride this means that it will be conducted below speed limits and is open to all riders of any cc. These rides are more just as much about the socialization as the bike riding. Your normally find you will get a number of people what to join you. Any time that Coffee is added to bike riding its always going to go down well.
Enjoy

Re: Coffee Capers
Hi Ross
I often ride out alone but I'm happy to meet up with fellow SWB's mid ride or just at a coffee stop for chat... as long as it's after mid day.
So just post up when & where you're thinking of going and maybe some of us might detour to join you.

You haven't got to be specific about anything apart from start time and location.
