Places now available if anyone fancies it, but they won't be there long. You're never too old too learn, and faults that you pick up over time get brought to your notice. Been riding over 40 years and I think they're worth doing every now and again. Jesus, over 40 years, time flies.

Did one in Exeter a while back and I'm doing the October one in Barnstabubble.

I did my first one there. Figured it would be best to do it on roads I didn't know so it would be a real test.

Well I won't be doing the May one that's for sure -apparently you've got to have a bike. 🏍 🙁

Sorry to hear about the the very ill bike :-o
But on the subject of Police Bike safe I only did mine once but wow what an impression it made on me when considering the hazards of the road and road positioning for better visibility. this is 100% a day that you need to book up and do you will learn so much if you have never done it before. :ymapplause:

Did mine Sunday, someone didn't turn up so it was just me and the copper. A really good day, apparently I'm not a danger to myself or the general public :D
It turns out the police idea of making 'good progress' and my own are very similar.

If you've never done a Bikesafe well no more this year, but try and get on one next year. You can pre-register and you'll then get a notification when dates become available.

I got an "A star" the other day at the one in Barnstabubble, which was nice but it's certainly no reason to be complacent. There's always room for improvement.
Pity it was only the observed ride because they still don't want to do the classroom sessions but the feedback from my observer was very good so well worth the "refresher".

Just put myself on the waiting list for next year. After all the comments along the lines of 'Where did you learn to ride like that!' I thought it's time I find out what all the fuss is about. :D .

I've put myself down on the Wiltshire waiting list. Doesn't look like they do the split road/track session they did in the past anymore.
