Just wondering if anyone has one of these and finds them to be both safe to use and worthwhile?

Interesting, what do they do? Or more to the point, perhaps, what do you use them for?

For bikes with a centre stand they just make front wheel cleaning easier.
For bike with just a side stand they make wheel cleaning and chain oiling easier, unless it's a shaft or belt drive.

So the same as using a paddock stand. Except they lean the bike over more and put more pressure/weight on the side stand ...... Which on both my bikes are bolted to the crankcases .......

Easier to use than a paddock stand, just one roller can do all bikes and either end, which is great for quick use.
Paddock stands are often different for front/rear use so you have to buy two stands.

Some of these roller pads come with a puck to raise the side stand to help the bike stay at a similar lean as before, but you can just use an off cut of wood under the side stand. I do that anyway when my bikes are garaged.

I use mine to oil chain clean wheels ect it came with a thick rubber puck to allow for side stand its just faster and easier than getting it on the paddock stands

Long live the bike centre stand I say! If you also use a headstock stand you have the best of all worlds.

A wheel roller may be quicker to use than a paddock stand for general cleaning and lubing jobs, but won’t be of much use when you need to remove a wheel so stands are still required. Fortunately the 1290 SDR is dead easy to get on the rear paddock stand on my own so it’s no big deal. Most bikes aren’t too hard to do as long as you can keep the bike balanced and can reach the stand comfortably.

They look good for those without paddock stands and with centre stands

Yeh, I agree it's the best.
I have the sportsbike stand and that comes out for any wheels off action but just for cleaning it'd be over-kill.

I have a couple of 1ft wood fence post offcuts with a recess cut into, chuck wood onto floor by sidestand, stand up bike, kick under sidestand, bike then more upright. Suprising how much less garage space each bike takes up. Can then park bike with a full tank of fuel. Handy easy to use without a paddock stand. Just make sure bike isn't too upright (make recess depth to suit bike). Each block is left on garage floor where each bike is usually parked, light enough that you can't trip on it. When taking bike out, stand it up, kick up sidestand and roll it out leaving block in place. You could use similar when using rollers (which i don't have). Obviously if working on bike use a stand.
