Hi All,
Time I actually put a post on here, and came out to join some of you for a ride out. Can't believe I joined in 2018.
I haven't actually done nothing in that time, we do get out and about a fair bit. Camping around the UK, and europe when we can, though only did around 3k last year. I have been riding more than a few years now, rather not say as it's adding up. First road bike was a B25 Starfire, it wasn't new though.
I have done the odd race track in the past, but seem to have got stuck in a late 70's, early 80's time warp with my bikes at the moment. GS1000, and R100RS. Even the RS keeps up with modern bikes on the road, though the brakes need leaning on quite firmly when fully laden, and the throttle needs to be kept in the loud sector.
I did try out a new R1250RS last year, and was slightly dissappointed.
I do have a desire to test ride a 1290gt, so that might happen this year too.
Hopefully I will see you out and about.
Mike
