Hi folks
I am considering some new clothing and wondered if anyone has any experience of airbag clothing versus normal leathers

Shooey has an airbag suit, he progressed from one of the vests.
I'm pretty sure that Menzies has an airbag vest though.

Hi yup I have an airbag vest that I use for track. Happy to say that I have not had to use it yet but would not go on track without it. Personally I feel having an airbag vest that goes over standard leathers is a better way to go as the air bag can have a greater capacity of CO2 for a greater protection which is fantastic if you land on your back or your front. But you need to consider if you have a low side and land on your side an airbag will offer little value to your shoulder or hips. If you therefore look to Airbag race suits then the protection overall is not as great but if you do have the low side then your going to get something.

If you want to see more then you can watch this video I made about mine there is also a £50 discount code that can use as well if you want to buy your own.

I would also say to you don’t forget about your standard leathers your going to ware and make sure they are of the correct standard and always upgrade the armour to level 2 it’s a cheap upgrade and makes a big difference. Another vid I did on the subject here

Hope this helps

Are you asking about road riding or track riding?

Would want to look at the Helite Turtle then rather then the GP Air (as that’s more track focused)
