When I'm next in Wales will be doing this route in the west Brecons. Anyone fancy coming sometime in August?

I've Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th August in mind, there's flexibility if anyone else wants to come and other dates suit them. Twins at the Rhymney House Hotel are £120 for 2 nights b&b, £60 per person.

Have fun, the weather forecast is scorchio, apparently! I will be in Wales next weekend, and only a little northeast of you, but not on the bike sadly. Somewhat ironically, I was just down the road from Merthyr at Walters Arena (Glynneath) last weekend .....

I could get a bit interested in this John. If it's not going to clash in any way with SWB's annual Wales Weekend in June then dial me in as a provisional for now

We did some awesome roads, and some not so awesome roads. Lessons learnt for planning future routes in the area, which was a major point of this trip over to the principality.
