Think it is just a matter of time before this is how people drive. ie get in the car and the car drives for you. Will probably mean in the long run less accidents and a very boring road experience but until they get there sure we are going to hear lots of examples of things not working quite how they are supposed to.

Quite a few cars are now being made with speed limiters too, so you can't exceed posted speed limits. Inevitably it will soon enough be on bikes. There will no doubt be legislation in most countries soon along the lines of making such technology obligatory- and no being outside the EU will not stop it happening here.

The software is already a mandatory requirement on new cars sold in this country as of July this year (despite Brexit). Its use, however, is voluntary ........... for now .......
