Tiger 1200 power switch

My 68 plate Tiger 1200 XRt is playing silly buggers

The power switch doesn't turn off the power anymore. Putting the steering lock on appears to turn everything off but the book says there may be live circuits if the power isn't switched off.

Which may explain why it doesn't start if I don't ride every day. Starting with the magic jump start box is fine and starting with the engine warm is fine.

But, once the engine is warm the revs drop on tickover and the engine stops.

I don't know if the problems are connected.

Anybody had anything like this?

I am intrigued as to what you mean by "power switch" - ignition switch, kill switch, or perhaps there's something else fitted to Triumph's?

The Tiger has keyless ignition with a 4-way switch on the handlebar
It's a combination ignition, starter and kill switch
