March 10th is the first official race of the season, is anyone watching it?

I stopped my BT Sport subscription so will be watching the highlights on ITV4.

Just spoke to the new landlord, Ian. Very friendly and helpful.

He didn’t know about it but I filled him in on channel and time and says he will show it this Sunday in The Snug. Dogs are welcome in the Snug so I might bring the pooch along.

They do a carvery but bear in mind it is Mothers Day on Sunday - they are fully booked so it will be very busy.

14:00 Moto3 Race
15:15 Moto2 Race
17:00 MotoGP Race

Edit. I've just learnt that ITV are to show at least two live MotoGP rounds in 2024. Here's some details lifted from Autosport:

"The German GP at the Sachsenring will take place from 17-19 June, with ITV’s main channel showing the race live. Moto2 and Moto3 will also be shown on ITV4.

The British GP, which takes place on 5-7 August at Silverstone will have all three classes shown live on ITV’s main channel."

I told Ian at the Queens Head 2pm on TNT Sport (previously known as BT Sport).

Nothing short of watching at the circuits in Italy or Spain beats watching the racing and shouting at the TV with banter amongst a bunch of mates down the pub … hope to see you there
