Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Ok so what a bloody cool (well warm actually) day it was at Cadwell on the 29th.
I went to Cadwell with 2 things in mind.
1) to try and beat my previous best lap
2) to talk about buying a track bike.
Well i managed one of them and got close with the other.
I normally hire for Matt at Smallboys Track Hire bikes. But following some money coming in my direction it was time to buy my own and was really happy that Matt offered me a deal i could not turn down so hoping that given ish about a month i will be the owner of the bike i have been hiring for about the last 3 years.
Unfortunately seems the previous person who had hired the bike had not noticed that the clutch needed adjusting and had totally toasted the clutch plates so only got to ride the ZX6 for a session and then had to swap bikes for the day..... which i have to say was not a bad thing as i got to swap over to Matts own personal Triumph 765 Moto 2 race prepped bike.... it was a beast, race shift with blipper as well, short wheel base, so much power all the way through the rev range.
My best lap at Cadwell was a 145.5 and I managed a 146.6 so did not beat it but did get close and some real effort was put in.
Nick / Duncan / Phil stayed on for another day and I understand that they had some great weather for the 2nd day and a lot of fun had by all and most importantly everybody arrived back home again the right way up.
Cant wait for the next one now.... on what will be a new horse added to the Menzies stable.
