Hi folks

I will be upping my commuting and will be travelling between Truro, Bodmin st Austell and liskeard on a regular basis.
I have been thinking of a Vfr800 but have been offered a good deal on a Yamaha FJR1300 and wondered if anyone has any experience of them
Regards
Martin

We still have a few as Bloodbikes with 80k + miles on them. Great bikes but need proper maintenance especially with rear shocks / linkage.

I have a FJR and it's a brilliant bike for commuting and long journeys, you will not be disappointed.

Great bikes. Shaft drive helps with commuting when you can't face tweaking the chain yet again. Very comfortable. Love mine.

Check you can manage moving it around though as it's heavy and a little tall.
