Hi all
Latest Newbie here.
Planning to get back into biking very soon. Riding since early ‘90s - VT500, CBR600 (‘jellymould’), FZR600 (still miss it!

), GSF1200 (naked - the bike, not me

) ….. (back when the gendarme didn’t stop you for doing 145mph on the Mulsanne Straight) then …… spinal injury and related issues (not bike related), early retirement from my valeting business, relocation down to near Kingsbridge a few years ago. CBR600f being sought at the mo. Have been along to Paignton nights a few times, and Kingsbridge Quayside. Still trying to find decent dealerships/garages in area

. Hope that’s OK for my virgin post.
Brian

Hi Brian, welcome to swb.
Sounds like you've had quite a biking lifetime. Plenty of rides and stuff to be getting stuck into.
Dive on in.

Thanks Simon
Gotta start all over again - bike gear etc has changed in 7 years!

Anyone with recommendations for MOT & servicing in South Devon, yes please.

South devon covers quite an area.
Crispy's Motorcycles in plymouth is a good Quality Workshop.
All depends what you're after really.
Dealership wise, generally only use those as meeting points or cafe stops.

Brian Loram in Newton Abbot is very good and reasonably priced as he's a one man band trying to (unsuccessfully) retire

Thanks Simon & Andy.
As mentioned I’m near Kingsbridge, so expecting to have to travel out of my area to find anyone. My old manner is in East Anglia (had a police mechanic carry out all my servicing etc - his garden shed was better equipped than most garages I’d seen, and he built drag bikes at the weekend) so just getting to find mechanics etc for when I’m back on 2 wheels. Already found a couple of definite no’s - not going to slate them on here.
