The dreaded FI light

Hello you lovely bunch of people… I have a 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R 636 only purchased it around a week ago and been out on it four times with no problems, I took it round the block this evening and the FI liked kept coming on and off.
Now this is a new bike for me, so please don’t laugh…..
At first I thought it was low on fuel  now it didn’t seem to run any different however I’ve not had the bike very long and it doesn’t like crawling along at low speeds but it’s been like this since I’ve had it and the light has only come on now.. now I’ve read that there is a test you can do with a wire but is there anything that I should be looking out for?

Thanks in advance

No there’s and aftermarket can on there.
Will check if it still has the exhaust valve

Worth figuring out of a diagnostic port and finding what the fi light is pointing towards.

Yes alot of the time it can be seized exhaust valve/servo, or something silly like loose battery terminal/spark plug.

Does it ride OK or does it stutter?

If it does have an aftermarket exhaust and exhaust valve removed, would definitely recommend pulling the servo out also and fit healech servo eliminator to remove any chance of the fi light.

Yeah I’ll make a wire up tomorrow and count the lights.
It does hunt a little when cold, the bike is new to me so just assumed it was normal-ish as it had an after market can
