Sunday 21st September - breakfast in Princetown.

Post by Robbo87 »

Looking forward, the forecast for Sunday 21st Sept' isn't looking quite so bad as lately. So - who fancies a run across Dartmoor with brekky at the Old Police Station in Princetown?
Route will be - Exeter M5 services, Moretonhampstead, Princeton, Torrington, Sth Molton, Rackenford, finishing with a coffee/whatever in Tivvy Wetherspoons. Approx 106 miles. - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Costa ... FQAw%3D%3D

Details: Leaving the 'Costa Drive Thru' (top of car park in Exeter M5 services EX2 7HF) at 0930 hrs prompt (brekky finishes at 11.30 hrs in Princetown).
Pace: Steady but 'making progress' so sorry, not 125 friendly.
Please arrive at the start a few minute early and be fuelled up.

Can't be certain what the rain gods have in store for Sunday yet so keep checking in, I'll be making the decision to postpone or run on Saturday late(ish) p.m.

Well, as the Met Office and BBC weather show differing degrees of precipitation in their forecasts, and with me being the eternal optimist, I'm going with the Beebs outlook and going ahead with the rideout. All details stay as per my original post so keeping my fingers crossed for a decent day out.
