I have a Shell fuel card due to the insane mileage I cover in the various modes of transport. Normally I get a rate even better than Trago Shell station - last week £1.31 for diesel.
Got the update on Fri as usual for the forthcoming week....
£1.62 per litre. 31p jump in a day, way dearer than normal stations now.

Have been watching the petrol prices at Morrisons in Teignmouth this week and a week ago unleaded was 1.27.9 its has gone up a penny every day and now 1.34.9 quite sure it will continue to rise... they couldn't have decided to do this in the winter when we didn't need to drive anywhere they had to wait for spring didn't they....

If you look at where the crude prices we are now, we are over the hump so the pump prices should stop rising and start to ease back soon.

Still higher than a month ago though

But not as high as when Russia kicked off.

Prices won't drop until Sept time. The companies will make the most of people not travelling abroad again and staying home over the summer doing 'Staycations'. Only when they go back to school (if we are all still here) will they drop.
