Hi All

I am looking to do a ride out on Saturday morning. I am limited on time and need to be home 11 / 12am

Start location = Tesco Extra, 2 Woolwell Cres, Plymouth PL6 7RF
Start time = fuelled and ready to ride at 7am
Mid point location for coffee and cake= Pavilion Stores and Café, The Pavilion, Barnstaple EX31 4QL
End location = A30 turn off by Marsh Barton Exeter

The plan and hope for this ride is that the roads will be clear so that we can make progress.
It looks like we have great weather on Saturday so want to make the most of it
I am short on time and will be looking to get on with it on this ride so if you are looking for a social friendly then this ride is not for you. Although I will be stopping for a coffee I wont be stopping for long as need to get back home.

I have already recruited Daz (Bilko 1000) and Jim Tomkinson to join me...... anybody else interested?

Sounds fun Rob but just a tad too early for me to haul my old bones outa bed . Have fun though 🏍.
I might organise a Sunday rideout instead, at a time more suited to us of a more delicate (and possibly aged) persuasion.

Plymuff 07.00 - too early for me to get down to a start down nearer the equator. have fun folks.

Im keen but is pretty early for me to get to Plymouth if it sunny at 6am and fairly warm ill come down to Plymouth if not I'll head up to Barnstaple

Thank you to Jim, Daz and Jimbo Raver for joining me this morning. It seems my google maps simple route got interesting on the way up…. Must sort out better way points so we don’t end up down single track lanes again… but other then that all good.

Got to be said I think that cafe was a bit of a find and clearly very biker friendly as we were made to feel very welcome. Must try that again a great stop if you’re planning a trip to Lynmouth.

In Lynmouth? Near Lynmouth? Do tell.

Maybe one of our favourites - Gemmas at Waytown, near Combe Martin???

That was a thought I had too, 'cept it's 10 miles away. My best guess is that it's the Lyndale cafe in the big car park off the A39 in Lynmouth. We've stopped there a few times in the past.

It’s got a Barnstaple address but if you google it very close to Lynmouth as per the route map above.

So you dropped down into Parracombe. Yes, we know the Pavillion
Nowhere near Barnstabubble, Off the A39 five miles from Lynmouth.
