They have "Biker BBQs" in the summer
Easy to get to .... turn off the A38 at the Drum Bridges roundabout (A382 junction) ... from Plymouth take first left to Bickley, then you'll see the brown sign for it, take first right - it's about a ½ mile up there
It looks like a nice pub from the outside, good car park too - haven't been in there yet though

I well recommend this pub, landlord is an ex biker and very welcoming.... food is good and not expensive....
easy to find from Plymouth direction, just take the Trago Mills (Newton Abbot)
turning, then first left off the roundabout and next right to Liverton, pub is on the left about a mile or so down the road....

I used to live in Ilsingotn, only drove a 125 scooter back then
I used to drink at the star quite regulary, seem a few bikes down in there, is a good little pub. The landlord is called mark, orginally from London

All for a meet at this pub - only 1/2 mile from my house, can leave my bike & stagger home.

This pub has since become a well used and (by me esp) liked venue for SWB meets...
