Well its taken lets see hmmmm 4 days and ive dropped it lol. Pulled up outside my exes today and suddenly realise to my horror that i cant touch the floor!!! (curse my lack of stature :( ) 2 secs later im picking my bike off the tarmac. All i can say is thank god for R&G crash bungs. Such a quality item. a slightly scuffed mirror im replacing next month ne way and a scuffed crash bung (who cares). I recommend these to ne one. IF i hadnt had them fitted could have been looking at trashed radiator and dented tank not to mention the scrapes. And lets face it no matter how experianced someone is little accidents do happen. :D

Unlucky, I know the feeling :? regarding lack of height structure, a slight adjustment of the shock absorber soon fixed that....

Ive been lucky so far, but going to have to invest in some crash bungs soon. Did you have to cut into the plastics to fit?

Not at all i ride a naked sv, and i think u dont have to cut the lowers if u have them on the half faired.

Bad luck mate :(

One reason I haven't fitted any is that I would need to cut my lowers and I'm afraid of messing it up.

thats true, trickdup had to cut the lowers on his curvy to fit the bungs. The newer sv ones r mounted on a bracket though rather than straight through the engine bolt so they r higher and clear the fairing
